Steve Porter at Heaven Ottawa

Is this artist worth paying 20 bucks to go see...

His myspace tells me little...

he's boring...after a while it all starts to sound the same...especially with that sound system.

Is this like electroish garbage, or is there at least a bit of prog in there?

Haven't seen Steve in a few months; last time, he played with Maher at SAT for a Bacardi party if I'm not mistaken (it was THE weirdest venue for Steve's sound) and he played a hyped up, high energy, high BPM, funky house set. Close to zero prog, unfortunately. But he definitely provided party music.

I personally liked him waaaaaaaaaay better in 2005-2006 when he came to Stereo a couple times. But that was 3 years ago, can't tell you much besides the above. 20$? Pretty cheap. Why not?
