Dave's a busy man plus we're more involved with EDC and Nocturnal this year.

Can't tell if you are sarcastic or not, since I dont know if you are involved in the event or not, or if this is a bs post like there is on most massive events. But would def like to know. Planning for NYE is tough this year with the dollar decreasing and flight costs increasing with gas.

A shame alas. Dancing in the streets, 21+ was great.

the OP was talking about the summer street party in downtown LA Giant has had the past couple of years... NOT NYE!

and FYI Jeremey (DJ Reese) works directly for Giant.... i assume his reponse was about the summer party.

ITA! I love where Giant had Armin spin last July 14, 2007 as the surrounding views were lovely all night long. It was so much better than where they had Tiesto on NYE as we got a nice view of the 110 freeway.

Sorry for the repost.. but July is just around the corner and I haven't heard anything for this year... so sad

Here is the deal. Dave wants to do the party but with so much going on with Giant these days it's a lot to put together. That venue, in my opinion, is one of the best in the country...but it's also hard to lock up. Dave is one of the few who can, but you still have to deal with filming projects as well. Plus, you only get that spot for about 24 hours.
So as of now there is nothing planned. But if he can manage to do it he will. It would most likely be a 1 stage event similar to last year.
There is a possibility to do it somewhere else, but it would not be as exotic. Either way if it happens it would be in Aug.
Let me ask this question:
What would your interest level be if it wasn't at the popular downtown location, or would it more depend on the talent?
