i wanted to record a set on my computer from my decks and was just wandering how i can do this.

hook up your mixer to "line in" of your soundcard, then get software like wavelab to record it to your harddrive...

hey thanks alot. is wavelab a very hard program to use.

Wavelab's pretty simple. so is Soundforge. and CoolEdit.

ok so I got WaveLab. where can i choose to record as an mp3 or do i have to first record a wav and then covert somehow??

you can encode mp3 through wavelab, i think its, save as special, then select make mp3
