So I adopted a kitten I found outside, meowing desperately and face full of mucus; this was about a week ago. I cleaned its face, gave it a full bath, and applied some medication the vet had given us before to its eyes (it worked like a charm).

The point is: it learned how to use the litter box the same day I brought it in, AND it kills all the roaches.

One night, as I was browsing TA, i noticed this big, fat, and filthy roach run out from under the closet door that's beside the computer, to other side of the room, by a shelf. Quickly, I busted out the RAID, and as I zeroed-in, Mr. Roach became panicky and darted for the corner. BIG mistake.

Just like that, it trapped itself; and so, I'm right there, bringing the RAID closer and closer... and you know, the strangest thing happened: its legs began to shake uncontrollably, and its antennas were going nuts.... like it KNEW it was about to die.

Yeah, I actually felt sorry for the little bugga. Sighing, I stepped back and let it go.

The next night, another roach ran across the room; in a heart-beat, I grabbed a pair of scissors and chased after that filthy cockroach... again, I cornered it... only this time, as I brought the scissors near, the thing remained calm... having no second thoughts about it, I snipped the roach in half and watched its halves dance for the few seconds it did.

Then, I began thinking... "Did I just murder the same roach I let go the night before?" I mean, it must've felt safe, because, you know, I let it go the last time.

Get off the computer and clean your house!

You certainly want to get rid of that roach infestation!

roaches live up to a year and a female can drop up to 8 egg cases in that time, each egg case containing up to 40 baby roaches!

Roaches like the warmth, you will usually find them in the back of your fridge (by the motor that pumps round the coolant) or around your boiler area.
Raid is no good for long term use, it just kills those you spray with it, you need a gel or a residual insecticide.
Roaches have another interesting feature, they are cannibals, so if you poison a bunch of roaches, the others will eat them and then in turn die off from secondry poisoning by digesting the poison in the poisoned dead roaches.

Boric Acid is your friend.

Get some gel or similar from the hardware store that contains boric acid and place it around the back of the frige and boiler, also inside the kitchen sink cupboard.

Did you work in the exterminating industry? My dad's been working it for over 20 years now.
