Perhaps he edited the tune during the mixing with some Pio EFX eside effects, and maybe some Ableton-additions?
Tune sounds quite original to me though, except for some repetatives/echo's/etc effects

I think i have the remix your referring to on mp3. At least, the liveset from which the mix is. Its a liveste of FK @ Urban Klub 12.04.08
