Tom Stephan aka Superchumbo & Federico Epis

Tom himself may be shy but his transatlantic, twisted sound is anything but! His seamless blend of deep tribal, jerky rhythms and electronic bleeps create a sound that is now recognized as Superchumbo. His own record label, ChumboMundo, launched in February 2005, and the first 3 releases received heavy support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Tenaglia, Junior Vasquez, Deep Dish and Erick Morillo. And in the Fall of 2005, he teamed up with Roger Sanchez to release a more darker side with the "After Dark" compilation. Over the years his various Mix compilations have allowed Tom to showcase his distinct sound and have been received extremely well by clubbers all over the world.

Federico Epis's career started in the early 80’s in Uruguay, as he played at the most important clubs at that time. In the mid 90’s, he started playing electronic music and by the time the year 2000 came along, he was chosen by the most well known promoters to play in the most important clubs in his home country in cities such as Montevideo and Punta Del Este, South America’s most exclusive summer spot. Besides that, in only 4 years as producer he has signed more than 30 releases with an outstanding list of big labels including Global Underground and Audio Therapy.
