So I've always wondered what genre this song is considered... drum and bass? Progressive breaks/trance?

Sounds like drum 'n bass to me, although parts of it remind me of We're Not Alone by HHC, which is trance, and Discogs tells me that's because the two are made by the same guys. So you could probably call it a trance 'n bass hybrid.

Beatport says Drum and Bass, but yeah - I've never really known quite how to classify it, I definitely used to say "trance" without hesitation.

Either way, now I really want to listen to GU007 again.
