I downloaded lots of patches for my VSTs (in this example Synth1) in .fxb and .sy1 format (my host is Cubasesx3), on the VST I click load Bank or Load instrument and nothing loads, what am I doing wrong?

In other VST's this works fine...

fxbs typically need to be loaded thru your sequencer 'vst load button' and .sy1's etc need to be loaded directly by the synth.

If I remember correctly, Synth1 (*.sy1) banks need to be placed in its own folder within your VST-plugins folder
e.g. C:\Program Files\IN Synth1 and not your sequencer's load thingie. A pop-up appears and from the left you can select one of the 9 banks in which you placed the files.
