I think a few of the long time forum members should be given mod priviledges so they can delete these spam posts. We all know we can trust peple like Shakka, magnetonium, etc. The regular (daily) visitors to these forums should be the ones to moderate. It's really ruining the boards, having to search through 10 spam topics to see the last real one.. I'll be glad to do it myself if given the opportunity.

I never even bothered to check, are the other sub-forums effected by this too?

Gaming forum is also effected, and the core obviously, but in the core nobody notices it anyway.

If it could e set up that users with 0 posts cant create new threads this could probabl be solved.

I guess there are several more effective methods to fight the bots without even introducing that silly code with every thread. Because the code doesnt even work well with Yahoo Games and robots still bombard the chats with junk (I play some yahoo on rare occassions).

As someone else mentioned, we can restrict making new threads to people with over 5 posts or so.

Pretty much every active forum is affected. EVEN Polls forum.

Only Archives has escaped the punishment so far.
