Truth Monitors not working
I've had them for probably nearing 2 years. For a while they've been crackling a bit and every now and then one of the woofers will drop out. However now they seem to just turn off completely after a few minutes of use, they work fine then just turn off.
Anyone had this problem before with these monitors?
And also any recommendations on new ones that are a bit better (mostly for production)?

If they work fine then all of sudden they just turn off then there's a problem with the amp.
It could be overheating or it could just be a loose connection.
Sounds dodgy either way.

are these monitors known to only last a couple of years? I havent exactly run them into the ground....they have had a reasonable amount of use but ive not had them on everyday by no means. if the woofer drops out i can push the volume up quite high and the woofer comes back but once they eventually turn off thats it...doesnt come back on unless i turn them off at the switch and back on again.

I've had my behringers for about 5 years and sold them a couple of months ago. They where still fine. Most of them do I think. Haven't read much bad things about them.
If less is more think about how much more more would be.

Sounds like a loose wire somewhere. Does this happen to both speakers or only one?

Do you have the auto-turn off function turned on on the back? (if you do, turn if OFF)
I had this problem when I had that on in the beginning. It doesn't really work too well.

It's been a while but I beleive they have small internal glass fuses on the amp PCB. If it's a faulty slow burn fuse, this could cause the problem as well.

Which model do you have?
I thought B2031A, but if you don't have standby mode you have a different model. Those kinds of details make it easier to help , so which model do you have?
And yes, I think you would probably want to have them checked
