Parallels Desktop for Mac and Windows VST

im getting a mac soon and i was wondering if anyone here knew if Parallels Desktop can run a windows version of a DAW like fl studio or cubase with pc vsts running.

I think there's a few virtual machines that can pull off what you are trying to do. I haven't used Mac in a while, so I'm out of the loop for what to look to. All I remember is Wine.

If I had the $$ on hand... I'd be running Mac again. Shame that my 3 purchased VST plug-ins are Windows, however...

It should be able to. I run a Windows VM in Parallels without much problem, although I do not do any production on it. The biggest problem you are going to have is that your resources will be limited as you only have a fraction of the power of the host machine. Unless you are running it on a big Mac Pro, I do not see you getting very good performance inside a VM. You'd be better off installing a Windows Partition and running XP/Vista natively on an Intel Mac.

I second that, I tried running FL myself, and although it was running smoothly, the ASIO4ALL driver and the engine were quite glitchy and I was getting plops every now and then, while no problem at all before when running windows natively.
