My Technics have problems with shocks.

Evry time I press "start\Play" on my CDJ to start mixing my technics jumps.
How do I make it more shock resistant ?!

I hope your kidding.

Try not to hit your decks, bump the table, or hit the start/play buttom too too hard.

Maybe you should try using a different table...something that will not budge when touched

Height adj.
Anti ska.... (Erased)
and the Weight of the Cartidge.

Ariels, get some foam or foam rubber and put a piece under each "leg" of the TT and it will help to absorb the shock.

I remember seeing somewhere specially made pieces of foam for under the turntable legs, but I have no idea where it was.

sounds like you need 300lb of cinder blocks and some good plywood

make sure your tonearms are balanced and weighed properly!

try installing the extra headshell weights and the aux weight on the back of the tonearm, if your cartridges let you do so ... that helps
