Politics of DJ and Clubs to raise their incoming profit

These days, in general most dance music seems to slower their bpm. Before, I've heard so many powerful trance bpm, from 138-144. The last few years, since ELECTRO HOUSE genre is booming, it seems affect to all Trance DJ to play slower BPM.

In Indonesia, most clubbers dance to ELECTRO HOUSE, the club itself doesnt want to use Trance DJ with 135+ BPM, unless it is for Trance events only. After 3 PM, then 138 BPM is okay.

The reason clubs limit their BPM is, they prove that ELECTRO HOUSE (126-132 BPM) music is good for the alcohol drinker, so the clubs raise their incoming profits. While they believe Trance become dirty words, the BPM is to fast and only use by the Cocaine/Ectassy addict.

Don't argue with me, this is just the REAL situation in Indonesian dancing scene.

That's kind of a far-fetched theory the club owners come up with.

cocaine and exctasy are not compareable. people on xtc likes it fast (like a good heartbeat is), simple, melodic like trance used to be, and everyone had a good time.

people on coce are more focused on looking cool, thinking they are cool, being asses, and general doesnt dance at all, just hanging by the bar trying to be whatever shit rolemodel they have. this fits the electrohousescene very good and thats why electro house 125BPM is getting playd nowadays. who the hell wear sunnglasses at a club????

but ur right, u drink more when the music is 125bpm caus ur fucking bored to life, its like listening to hiphop. which is another cocain-sunglass-genre.
