from deep to druggy 14.07.08 [house&techno]

Okay, here's the story. I wanted to create a mix that covers different styles of house/techno I like. The result was not as diverse as I hoped (forgot about dub-techno) but decide it on your own...

Here's a brief description about the structure: deepish housesounds; detroitish material; dubstep influenced techno, music for the dancefloor

01 The Asphalt - 8 Mile Road
02 Modi - Ayaki
03 Unknown Artist - Wax No. 10001
04 DJ Koze - I Want To Sleep
05 Wbeeza - Heavy Stuff
06 Gonfish - Soul Beat
07 John Daly - Broken Juno
08 Paperclip People - Throw
09 Kelli Hand - Escape In Detroit
10 Mood II Swing - Move Me (Mood II Swing Original Dub)
11 Ali Nasser - Get Away
12 Ali Kuru - Free Hauz
13 Vera & Federico Molinari - It Ain't Music
14 Liebe Ist Cool - Elfgardens
15 Ricardo Villalobos - Electronic Water
16 Femi Kuti - Traitors Of Africa (Q's Treacherous Beats)
17 Andomat 3000 & Jan - L Delay
18 Sascha Dive - Annihiating Rhythm
19 Matthias Tanzmann - Swim (Peter Dildo Swimming In Deep Water Remix) (
20 Gabriel Ananda - Miracel Whop
21 Peace Division - Get Over It
22 Christian Burkhardt - Kreiskollaps (Federico Molinari Remix)
23 Brothers Vibe - Revolution (Rare groove)
24 Minimal Man - Make A Move (part 1)
25 Beat Pharmacy feat. Mutabaruka - Wata (Acid Dub)
26 Michal Ho - Takeway (Rhadoo Remix)
27 Chiapet - Westworld (Medieval Funk Mix)

any feedback would be welcome (and please, don't ask what happened during the transition from l delay to annihilating )

I concur ! Very well done mix

Listened to this lying on the sofa yesterday. It was so hypnotic that I progressively went half asleep, following DJ Koze advice. Perception of the music slowly changed, making it as druggy/dreamy as the title suggest. Some harsh sound finally kind of woke me up abruptly towards the end. Conclusion: I loved this mix in those special conditions but will definitely have to listen to it once more, seeking for that wakening harsh sound

tracklisting looks gold...will be interesting to see if you pulled off so many tracks in an hour.

good stuff but levels throughout the mix are off. it does feel very unplanned which explains some of the rough mixing at points, however it does also bring a level of spontaneity which is good. the constant grooves does make up for a lack of peak but it would need one i reckon. but anyhow good shit mate
