...is gorgeous. Treny might be my album of the year contender, probably along with Flying Lotus - Los Angeles.

Here's a little taste of what he does:

If you're into stuff like Sigur Rós and/or Burial, you have to hear this.

I liked it.

Sounds similar to some stuff I've tried to do before, actually.

This is absolutely stunning music. Sounds very similar to some stuff I've toyed with lately as well (granted, this is a lot more developed than what I've tried to do). Thanks for introducing me to this

Is it available digitally anywhere?

Edit: Nevermind, found it

Well, modern classical is at least as much about stuff like this as it is about Glass's euphony:

yeah it's all classical

i guess modern makes me think of the 60s though.

at least in the art world modern refers to generally postimpressionism through up until 5 or 10 years ago.

contemporary is generally +/- 5 or 10 years (thats what they say lol)

Contemporary classical is a free-for-all as far as I can tell, with some people continuing in the atonal or liberally dissonant styles of Schoenberg or Ligeti, others doing minimal stuff like Glass, others doing experimental electronic or performance stuff like Stockhausen, and many mixing all different styles together...
