Make fun of a genre thread.

I'm bored so ill start.

Hardstyle

It's not so funny except for the fact that One Synth + Distorted Kick = Hardstyle sound. It probably needs some movie quotes for authenticity.

Who is going to make some progressive with moar sidechain+analog?

BASSLINE HOUSE

Over here in UK we have chavs young men and women who play no sports yet insist on wearing tracksuits and drinking cider from 2L bottles in the street.

These folks love bassline house and I always has 4 or 5 remixes of some old classic house song. Its angry music and they go to these clubs which are usually the roughest in town and go and stab each other and have arguements over whos having the last line of coke!

wuap wuap wuab wob dum dum dum dum SAME TUNE EVERY TIME

Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.

in that case , chavs here in the north west listen to SCOUSE HOUSE or aka bouncy/bumpin/nrg house

usually a happy hardcore tune and pop song lyrics accompanied by the DONK BASS or a pipe sample with fx to us producers.

Usually has a tracksuit wearing MC yabbing away

artists are:-

Alex K
Blackout crew
Kb project

and a few more ,

Rumour has it , that its spreading through oz and europe but not sure if this is confirmed.

Here's a better idea: if you don't like a genre, shut the hell up and don't listen to it.

There are a LOT of people who hate trance, house, and pretty much all styles of electronic dance music. Don't believe me? Go post an 'I Love Trance/Prog/House' thread on kvr.com and watch the responses you get. And, I personally can't stand ignoramuses who bash other genres just to make themselves feel superior or to overcome their own insecurities.

It's stupid. Get over it.

Personally I dont hate any music. It is more the scene around it and if i want to bash people that turn EDM into an excuse to fight stab and generally make it unsafe for trance heads to go out to similar clubs then i will.

BTW my fav trance club had extra security the other night. I asked you hitting drugs hard he said we dont give a fuck about drugs mate, there is a bassline house room on tonight we are looking for guns.

nuff said

Scouse House offends me

It's fucking horrible, especially watching the chavs enjoy it.
