Are We Going To War With RUSSIA?
TA has been boring lately, let's start some juicy talks!!!
So Russia invaded Georgia on Friday. Today Bush told Russia to back off and to stop any plans for Russia to overthrow Georgia's government.
That said, what you think? We going to war with them if Russia keeps it up?

Wow... this is a sensative subject. I dont think the US will do anything. They'll get mad and shit, but i dont think the US will risk trying to go toe to toe with the Rooskies.

georgia bit off more than it could chew. rest of the world would just like the status quo to remain. georgian should have left ossetia and the other rogue province alone. russia will most likely just leave main georgia alone now that it's put georgia in it's place. same old russia. same old feisty stubborn georgia.
unless russia starts messing with the oil pipelines... then could be totally different story.
i'm not necessarily a political junkie but more of a military and geo-political strategy geek... and for that, a couple articles with great strategic analysis:
The US population was never in more agreement than during the Red Scare in the 50s. I think going to war with the Russians is exactly what this country needs to get back on track.

Part of the problem is with Georgia being our allies their army is depleated because we're using their troops in Iraq. This is definitely a tricky situation.
