Whatever happened to Bedrock OS?

I was importing my music to a new computer and ran across the compilation Bedrock OS 0.1 - Desyn Masiello. It made me wonder whatever happened to that series. I know Jonathan Lisle and Luke Fair each did one, but why did they stop?

I've asked similar questions about other compilation series' that just came to a sudden and abrupt halt, like GU's NuBreed series, in particular.

I guess that just didn't prove profitable enough, or ceased to be relevant?
