About two weeks ago I went to see John Digweed amongst others play in Ghent, and whilst enjoying his set, I couldn't help but wondering how I would play if I were in his place that very moment. The thought kept haunting my mind, and today I let it inspire me to make this mix. Granted, Digweed was the inspiration for this mix, but that doesn't mean of course that I just copied his style and playlists. There a distinct Vega touch to the mix, as far as there is such a thing of course It is, however, specifically designed for the dancefloor, and it's a perfect resemblance of what you'd get to hear if I got carte blanche in a dark, sweaty underground club: a slow start, gradually building towards total mayhem, with a lot of drive and basslines that will blow your socks off.

For those who are interested, there's also a 2 hour version available. I had to make my monthly Veganism mix for danceradio.gr, but due to a lack of time I decided to take this mix and just add another 40 minutes to it. The result is pretty good, and if I have to be honest, I even like this full 2 hour mix as a whole more than DD 5 itself
