I've never really played through any adventure games of any sort, and on top of that, I find that all of the ones I've tried are a complete bore. Everyone else loves them, but I need more violence and mayhem.

full throttle was fun, the ending was a bit bogus since you had to *guess* that you could get something you couldnt see from off screen to save yourself|

Yeah, not a fan of adventure games either. At least none that were made in or after the 90s.

Oh man, i cant decide, LucasArts made some of the best adventure games ever. Monkey Island (2 is my fav), Fate of atlantis, Mania mansion and Day of the Tentacle....cant decide whi one of them is the best.

Manic Mansion and Full Throttle. Still play through each regularly.
Oh man that is indeed a tough one to call. Out of the all the "Quests" they made I only ever like the Space Quest series. But then again we have the wonderful Larry series, Phantasmagoria 1 & 2, Gabriel Knight 1 & 2 (not a fan of the latter sequels).
Too tough to call. There were many many great adventure games released in the good old times. Discworld comes to mind. Now THAT was an awesome game.
