[edit] I read on youtube comments (not sure if it's a reliable source) that a kick in the side of the head triggered something and he had a seizure on the filed, but he was hospitalized and is fine now.

It is sad seeing that happen.
A really sad one is Miklós Fehér, who died 25th of January 2004 of a heart attack on the field. One moment he was getting a yellow card - then he clutches his chest and falls over.
