8gb for $22

I think someone is getting a new mp3 player (assuming mp3 players are similarly cheap).

Do they play mp3s though? Or are they just a regular memory stick deal? I have a 2GB one that I got from Officeworks for $15, but it's just storage, nothing else.

It's just storage, but you can store a ton of mp3s on them. Easy way to take your music to work/school and play it on different computers.

I love how the storage and speed doubles every 18 months, and the price halves at the same time. What a paradox..

Soon we'll have 128GB flash drives. Awesome.

I remember buying a 256MB flash drive for around $150.

Not exactly, its gotten a fucken whole lot cheaper recently. I bought my 2gig iriver s10 mp3 player for 140 bucks 18 months ago now similar generics are probably like 30 bucks and for 140 I could probably get an iriver with 8gig.
