review: Labour of Love 2008
so...lets hear your stories?
i arrived around 11. The line moved fairly quickly considering the amount of people out side. "Grinder to the crotch chick" out front was cool.
moved as fast as possible through kool haus to Guv for Mark Knights set. He was playing some nice tunes, but found his set to be up and down vibe/intensity wise.
We left at 1am to head over to the tent for Vandalism. Holy fuck what a mess trying to get through orange room to kool haus (the route to the tent) again, considering the amount of people going the same way, it was pretty quick. Vandailism were pretty good, but the last 2o mins of their set when Cassie the singer came on, it got really quiet and never got louder...even for when mstrkrft came on. Maybe cause it was outside and to prevent noise violations?
fak...geting tired and need to sleep..
in the tent. drank expresso...YES!! they had a fucking expresso machine! how wicked was that?
went to guv at 3 for ingrosso & angello...benny was still on and played till 3:45. he suprisingly had me going good. real good. can anyone i.d that rock track he played around 3:30?
ingrosso and angello were solid.
I'm getting super lazy...tired.
yes. horrible review, I know.
I'm gonna go have a glass of vodka and give myself a hand job before i goto bed.
edit: set/music of the night for me. a toss up between the first portion of mstrkrft and the last portion of benny benassi.
moment of the night for me....waiting for 2 mins for the saxaphone intro on "man with the red face - mark knight mix" part way through angello & ingrosso's set. saxaphone dissapears and that wickedly cool melody plays on...and on...and on....
