so with battery, you can open a folder of samples, select them all, and drag & drop them onto some midi device which distributes them across all notes of the keyboard? |
You can drag-and-drop them on, what they call, "Cells". And each 'cell' can be triggered by a key of your midi device.
Battery looks like this:
In the upper screen, you can see all the cells, and in the lower screen, are controls to i.e. assign midi, outputs, effects etc.
You can also use Kontakt to set samples across you midi-device. But it takes a little more effort than with Battery!
