I really hope everyone comes out the next few weeks with their full support for the club. The owners of this place are top notch people who were truly commited to having the best space in the city. Always willing to accomadate us in anyway and always open to our ideas. But after being open for 3 years and losing on average $80K a month they finally decided to close the doors. They have even been gracious enough to tell their entire staff 3 weeks in advance of the closing and also setting up Severance pay for every employee to accomadate them in the transistion. Thats something you really don't see for bartenders and staff of a club. |
Reposting from lunar again because everyone should hear this. And here was my response there.

Wow. I felt that toward the middle of the Swerve nights that the staff began to get really nice too. Aside from the dumb "sit you in line to make it appear busy" thing, I have nothing but good words to say about all my experiences with the staff from that point on.
edit: And before that, they were very genial as well minus pockets of dumb people. When I was doing my interview with Prydzy, they sent a guy to show his manager and me upstairs, and then left the spot to just us. They trusted us and gave us privacy. That's respectable if anything! |
