what's up guys/girls!?!? I just got two tables (they were free from a friend, so I'm not going to complain about them)

2 Numark TT-100's
and
Numark Pro-SM1

These will be a suitable setup for me to figure out if I want to/can Dj worth a shit, so all I need is some help from you guys.

Can you be so kind as to give me 5 or 6 suggestions on some not-to-hard-to-find records that would be good for the beginning DJ to start mixing with. I want to spin trance, and that would cover just about anything....progressive, epic, etc.

some fav producers are M.I.K.E. (Push is my fav. Dirk guise), Tiesto, Airwave, Armin, Marco V, Ferry, etc.

These are the names off the top of my head, so if you could give this starting Dj some helpful tips on where to find some good records to start with at a reasonable price, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I would suggest you get some records from here: http://www.dancerecords.com/

I picked up some nice ones, they came fast and at a good price.
they had DJ tiesto - in my memory 4xLP, but it is no longer there.

or you can always try your luck at ebay.

or, better yet, go to a local record store, and check out some choons. look for something with barebones bass at the beginning to learn to mix quickly.

just a 4 beat of kicks is best. once you get the hang of the decks, then try harder stuff.

Thanks guys, a whole lot. I like what the first guy said about starting out with songs that just contain that 4-beat bass kick. I'll listen to some of my mp3's and get some songs that I like from there.

I'm thinking I'll try and get Universal Nation (Ferry Corsten Remix) b/c I know that starts out with that haunting beat.

Well, just download and give mark norman - overkill a listen, it has a nice and steady beat throughout the track. To be completely honest with you, that track is just beats and almost nothing else. I guess that's why it's called 'overkill'

Since you're starting, I suggest finding tracks that has a very dominant single bass. Paul van Dyk tracks would be an example. You'll need that bass to learn beatmatching easier before you move on to more complex beats.
