New free mix hosting site - we need your comments!
After struggling to find a decent mix hosting site we built one ourselves.. www.mixeeba.com.
Good, timeless mixes deserve a better home than places like sendspace etc. Obviously as DJs ourselves we're offering a service geared towards djs.. bigger filesize (700MB), an unlimited hosting period, store tracklists, comments, feedback etc.. and anything else you can think of.
Head on down and let us know what you think..www.mixeeba.com.
Looks pretty solid, I'd just spice up the layout a bit.

Nice one guys.. we were thinking of giving each genre its own theme.. but we certainly want to keep each page clutter free, i think that's the trouble with most sites - too much on the screen.
Will note these down and see what the designers come up with!
for some reason i was unalble to download any of the mixes.selected the mix-double click on download symble and no fun for me. i like what you are doing and might i sugest some back drops and yes keep it fresh and minimal.

single-click on the download link and give it a couple of seconds for the download to be processed.. what browser are you on? There are known issues with IE6.. Let us know we'll help you out
Sounds interesting, filefront is quite good for me, however concidering this websites based around mixes and djing etc I think I'll give it a try and upload my stuff later. I demand a goa/psy subgenre for trance.
[edit]
"Upload your mixes somewhere online. Submit details of where your mixes are currently online to us. We download them and host them on mixeeba. You're ready to share and manage your mixes!"
Fuck off. My mixes aren't on anywhere that will allow direct linking, so there goes that.
[second edit] ok nevermind, you mentioned sendspace, megaupload etc which def won't allow direct linking. I'll just enter the filefront url then.
[third edit] ok, now your telling me theres a problem with my url, most likely first problem remains. If you can't be bothered giving me an upload button, or a place to link my mix for you to manually download later, then why should I bother with you

Any of the mentioned services provide a link to your file - how else would the service work? - just enter that in the url field.
