Minilogue - Snake Charmer (Wagon Repair 43)

Urban Slough has a touch of Inca built into it, a track that I really really enjoyed. I'm a fan of this release.

Enjoy Snake Charmer a bit because it reminds me of DEMF this past year - probably heard that tune a half dozen times throughout the course of the weekend.

Both trax are good, especially the b-side, which is a bit more relaxed. Not as good as Doicie, but still very good.

Yes, Snake Charmer is very Clarke-esque techno, like REAL techno.

I dont think Minilogue will ever reach the level again that they did when they made Inca. That track is just freakin HUGE.

Agreed. Plus stuff like Girl From Botany Bay, Ahck... won't happen again.

This release is kinda cool though, liking Urban Slough.

I don't know if I'd agree on Inca being their pinnacle, but I do think they kind of suffered from what I'd call Deadmau5 syndrome last year - just too much material coming out, and a lot of it was average to bad.

this is not bad, but i agree that it is weak for a wagon repair release.
