Hypnotic Duo released a 3 track EP titled Call My Name on Kansak Recordings, a sublabel of BIT Records specialized in deep progressive house. If you are a fan of atmospheric progressive music, this is a release we recommend you to check out.
Hypnotic Duo

Hypnotic Duo are Marius Paplauskas and Justinas Gritėnas from Lituania. They started their production career in 2008 and had their first official release in the first half of 2009. From that moment on they were able to attract the interests of some of the best progressive labels, like Panda Recordings, Mistiquemusic and Deepsessions Recordings.


Hypnotic Duo -- Call My Name EP (Kansak Recordings)


1. Call My Name (Original Mix)

The EP kicks off with the track that gives the title to the whole release. This is the most energetic track of the package and one that is surely going to do some damage on the dancefloor. The deep baseline coupled with the atmospheric arrangement gives this track a really hypnotic feeling.The subtle minimalistic melody introduced in the breakdown is another element that makes this track a must have for any progressive fan.


2. Surface (Original Mix)

We remain in familiar territory with Surface that however has a much more relaxing deep tone compared to Call My Name. Atmospheric pads, female voice samples, background sounds effects and a relaxed groove characterize this production. If you need some calm dancefloor sounds look no further.


3. Hypnotic Duo & Styvou -- Journey (Original Mix)

The track that closes this EP, Journey is a coproduction between Hypnotic Duo and Styvou. While it almost approaches the energy delivered by Call My Name, it also has the more atmospheric and melodic mood of Surface. Honorable mention for the great bassline used in this track. A strong finish for a great EP.
