Now I am lost when it comes to this DMX stuff. I just want to know, if I buy this what else do I need? Do I need one of these DMX controller thingies or can I just plug it in and it can be sound activated?
Thanks

You only need a DMX controller if you're planning on manually controlling the lights. This light is capable of being sound activated, aka auto! In such case, you don't need a DMX controller.

Yep, you don't need it... but the "auto" modes on some fixtures can be pretty erratic. You can pick up a Chauvet DMX-7 controller for under $100 to get more control.

So getting this controller I'd have to manually use it? Or does the auto through the controller work better than the auto without?
I just dont want to be bothered clicking buttons for lighting.
