If i want to be able to add a song to an ipod i need to put it in my "library" first?

ya i plugged it in avfter downloading itunes and on my library, everything from my desktop was there.. but it was on my library, not ipod itself.

You may have to go through and manually sync that to your ipod if you're having problems. You do that by punching bitches.

you can open itunes and then drag and drop from your music folder and it does it all for you.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think MediaMonkey will recognise the IPOD and allow you to update it using that software.
