Your bass should be made up of 3-5 levels - sounds which may only seem to have minimal input make all the difference and e.q-ing is very important. A lot of the time people get carried away with filter frequency, but a lot of the time it makes the sound muddy. You will in some form or another need to side chain all your bass sounds, even just a tiny bit.
Your melody work is nice, taking a lot from the original but it is brought down by the bassline, which I think its the hardest part of producing trance. I can provide you with the piano midi if you wish |
