Replacing Files While Playing.(Cubase)

Is there a way to replace an audio file while the sequencer is playing? I.E. Say I have several perc loops laid out. And I want to audition other loops while the sequencer is playing to see how they fit with my other elements. How would I do that?

How would I replace several same track items even if the sequencer isn't playing?

You cant do that, go back to Live

You could probably use some kind of VST Sampler which plays in sync with the project to audition loops.
