Electronic Producing Software for amateurs

to all users...

this is my first post and the biggest question i have had while listening to the music for the past 15 years...

p.s. i cant believe i finally found a forum site where everyone is an electronic music fan like me...its soooo nice to know that i can talk to other people who are!

my question to all is...

What is the best electronic music producing software for an amateur like myself...

and is this kosher to ask this as my first thread?

cant wait to hear your responses...

Feel free to check out the Production Forum for more detailed information .

But if you want a quick answer, personally I would say check out Ableton Live. But as said above check out the Production Forum, there lie all* your answers to those budding questions.

*Disclaimer. May not actually contain all the answers to your budding questions.

Once you have a computer and a sound-editor, you just need a decent microphone and some pots and pans. You can bang the pieces of cookware together to make your source sounds. I made an entire trance album this way.
