no surprise, i think even the republicans knew it was going to be a loss, and it was a matter of by how much.
maybe one day we will have a minority president in office. Obama just opened the door(remember he's multiracial and brought up by his white mother and white grandparents)

Oh hell yeah! McCain fucked up by having Palin as his running mate. Bad move but tough break McCain we got Obama baby!

I've been excited about this since it looked like he would win a month or so ago...but watching it happen today...does anyone else feel this might end up being one of the best days of our life? With the average age of the people on this board and the fact that this maybe our President for the next 8 years, this is a great day.
Gotta say though...I like McCain. Kinda boggles the mind how we get Bush for the last 8 years and a quality candidate like McCain won't ever make it to the White House. We had two great choices this year, and I'm stoked to see what the future brings.

mccain's speech was very classy and respectable. obama's was just wow... both said exactly what the country needed to hear. the world is smiling.
