Really? You don't hear that the kick, hat, and bass are all the same?
I thought it was fairly obvious. But maybe I'm hearing things...

Oooh snap! I miss that track. Definitely one of my favorites from '06 . Now I'm curious to see just how similar this track is to that one.
d/ling now..

i made the bass with a combo of the zeta vst and albino the synth with pluk and atmosphere with the pro 53, as far as the his and kicks go,how many songs use the same kicks...come on
From a completely unbiased standpoint I dig the sound of the track. I understand that there are millions of tracks out there and it's pretty hard not to make a track that sounds at least slightly similar to a few others...
Unfortunately, this one happens to sound incredibly similar to 2 (TWO) very popular tech-house/techno hits from 2006. It's got the bass line from Same Man (which you can hear in the first 20 secs of the vid Shamez posted). Didn't mind overlooking that actually, but the synth throughout sounds almost exactly like 'Zoom In' by Kupon which happens to be one of my favorite tracks in all of EDM..
Here's a clip of Digweed spinning it in London a couple years back..
Anyways, the track was not bad nonetheless. I still feel like some sections could've been extended to make it one or two minutes longer. Keep plugging away, and ditch the earbuds dude lol. At the very very VERY least pick up some Sony MDR-V150 headphones. They're below standard for DJing, but if you're broke, they pack quality sound and bass for a measly $25 and should hold you until you can pick up some high end Sony Pro headphones or better.

I'm not trying to be a dick. I'm just saying that if I was out and you started to play that song, I would immediately turn to whoever I'm with and say "Ahhh... Same Man!" Once the melody kicked in, I would realize it wasn't, but until then, it's the same track.
