Sampling not against German Law for now

BERLIN, Germany (AP) -- Germany's highest civil court has dealt legendary electronic band Kraftwerk a blow in ruling that sampling music does not in principle violate copyright.

Can you imagine how much $ they stand to earn if copyright was enforced?!

But seriously,

Change a note and its not your sample anymore.

But then again Roland could be the richest people on this planet if they took money for every sound in every song their products made.

Just decided this is a tricky subject
