To change speed of a mix

Hi,

Wasn't sure what section to put this in, but i have a PvD mix, and basically it's too fast! All i wanted was some free programme to download to slow down the bpm of the mix as it's a bit too much listening to the trance PvD plays this fast.

I downloaded a few programmes after doing a google but none did what i wanted them to do.

Any help appreciated.

Don't know of any software off the top of my head but one way would be to burn it to cd, run it through your CDJ's at your preferred speed whilst simultaneously re-recording it to your computer via Audacity/Soundforge etc

Winamp has a pitch slider app, pretty strait forward.

Basically any audio editing program will do this. Throw the file into audacity and slow it down by 5% and then reencode it.

THIS is a neat little program that came up in the formus a bit ago. Might be overkill, but seems to have pretty accurate stretching capabilities. (aside from just being fun to play with).
