On the next BassTeasers Digital Presents.....

Mary Jane Baker (Jessica Greenwell) was born and raised in London Ontario and cut her teeth in the electronic music scene in 2002. After a short time she became interested in the concept of inspiration through sound. Through the knowledge and support of many key London locals, Jessica developed her turntable skills and an ambition to play live. She got her start playing Hard Dance (Rave Music) under the name Trixie Firecracka and was fortunate enough to receive her first few bookings in Toronto.
To appeal to the tastes and more mature styles of her hometown crowd, Jessica became interested by the change in the scene and was inspired to learn to play breaks, house and garage under the name Mary Jane Baker. Since then she has received many bookings all over Southwestern Ontario including London, Niagara, St Catherines and Toronto for all of these but especially UK Garage.
Currently Jessica still plays under both names depending on the genre she is booked for. However, she has had such a success with Mary Jane Baker, she recently has formed a french inspired electro house duo with her boyfriend (Dr. Chronic Logic) and has gained an exceptional amount of bookings since they formed in Feb 2008. They play under the name Funk en Delicious.
Jessica's goal as a musical performer is to keep the crowd moving, create a positive energetic vibe as well as hopefully inspire others to experience and appreciate all types of electronic music. In the near future she plans on to begin producing Jessica also is looking into gaining a better knowledge of the tricks and advantages of professional turntablism.
