OTA Antenna - CM4221

Where can I buy the CM4221 OTA antenna?

I know they have it at Sensuz, but I cant pick it up today it seems like. They either deliver or when you arange a pick-up it takes a few days.

Anyone know where I can just walk in today and buy it?

Thanks

I have a DB-8, you should get one double wide one the CM4228, it's worth it. Where do you live? You might be fine with the 4221 if you're in the golden horseshoe.

Also, the best place to shop for OTA antennas with stock TODAY, is a strip of stores on Matheson immediately west of Dixie on the north side of the street. There are at least half a dozen OTA and FTA and specialty electronics stores in that area, and they have stock. Each of them have a comparable style to the CM4221 for something like $29.

I live in Windsor and already have the 4221.

This one would be for may parents, in Leamington (Close to Windsor). I was thinking maybe going the 4228 route though, since they are about 50-60km from Detroit where all the towers are.

I am in Toronto for the weekend, so do you know where I can go in the city or GTA and just walk in and pick one up today?

I just edited my post above... Matheson and Dixie is where you need to go. The one I saw in just about every store there is one that looks very mych like the CM4221, 4-way bow-tie design on a grill.

For sure... one of the smaller places who does have the antenna definitely is (not on their wab page, but do have in-store). It's on Matheson, but the East side of Dixie http://www.ftasatellitedishreceiver.com.

These places cater to work out of their garage dealers, so you can be sure of that.

prices arent too bad on that site. some things are more expensive but they do have some decent deals. their home install kit is pretty good for $50. i would've expected them to give the cheap crimp connectors and crimp tool with that but they are giving compression with thomas&betts connectors (these are the best connectors on the market). t&b connectors are the only ones worth using.

their 24" eliptical dish with two dual lnbs for $60 is not very cheap (mind you, its about average price). you can get the same thing at tech direct for $50.

That site i prolly the smallest dealer on that strip. Their crimp tool cost me $5 cash.... a crappy one mind you, but for personal home use it's ok. If you haven't been on this Matheson strip yet Jason, you should definitely have a look. the mini-mall on the east side is a parts paradise for anything electronic.

Rob, I love all of your "Anyone know where I can buy _______" threads! Haha You need to invite me over once you have everything set up. With all of the stuff you've told me you've bought (though I still disapprove about that one item - you know what I'm talking about), and the things you're still looking for...it sounds like the after parties are gonna be at your house all the time!

Edit - Just realized this was for your parents. But still!
