Arrow Stargazer - Starship (New Track)

Hi Guys, been into production now for 6 months and I would say this is my best track so far and its the only track that I have actaully completed! im sure theres tons of stuff I could do to improve it like adding effects and EQ etc so I welcome all critism.

Genre : Uplifting trance
DAW: Cubase
VSTS & PLUGINS : Z3ta, Vanguard, Battery, Albino, Embracer, Oxford EQ

Hey mate, really not bad for only 6 months producing.

Apart from the high staccato-ey synth that pans from right to left in the intro, most of the track seems fairly centered. Work on spreading most of your sounds and filling all the stereo field.

Unfortunately I'm listening on headphones here, so I can't provide too detailed mixing advice. The levels seem reasonably good. Overall the sounds are slightly dry, set up your best reverb on a group or fx channel in cubase, and send varying levels of different tracks to it.

The main synths are obviously too dry, definitely send to some reverb. main synths usually require loads of detailed fx work to really make them sparkle and be somewhat .. special. Try duplicating a track, and heavily affecting the copy - then bury the copy somewhere in the mix so you can hear it, but not too obviously. this can give sparkle, make the sound evolve, etc. The only limit is your imagination, cpu power and resolve

Overall nice work though, keep it up and keep finishing those tracks! Completing tracks is the sure way to get better, so keep up the good work.
