Well this may be a long shot but I really need to get this song! I don't have a sample of it, but I may have some clues of who mixed it. I think either Pete Tong or Jon Pleased Wimmin had it on a mix from '96 or '97, it's the first song of the mix.

The song has vocals of a woman, and start with her saying something like:

"many people have been lonely at some part of life and I have also has been lonely. But now we are here together...."

Then the song starts...

"Take a ribbon from your hair. Shake it loose and let it fall. (....)"

It's not a hard banging tune, but more of a relaxing chilling mix that makes you happy!

If you have a clue of what this tune is you'd make my day, cos I've been looking for the tune for the last 3 years.
