Maybe it's just me, but I really don't get the beef everyone has with Sound-Bar. I've been there quite a few times over the years and always had at least a decent time. I've never been hassled by anyone and have no issues with any employees. Maybe it's because I respect their dress code and employees and act like an adult, I don't know.
I've had limited experiences at Crobar due to the generally disappointing times I've had there. Their staff is poorly managed and seems intent on furthering their agendas and exercising their "power" when and how they see fit. I've been forced into purchasing extra bottles, paying higher than advertised cover even when on a list, and threatened to be kicked out due to my arm brushing a meathead security failure on the dancefloor. The place is all about looks, status, money, and "being seen to be seen." If that's your thing, then by all means go for it.
Just don't forget your sunglasses.
