im not using IE 7.0 and my firefox hasnt worked properly since i installed my firewall lol. whats my 3rd option, netscape navigator? i used to use that over IE when i began using the internet because I liked the avatar.

Uninstall firefox and reinstall it.

Opera, Safari (for windows), Chrome (mentioned above) Flock

Obviously you're not on a Mac (you mentioned ie7)

thanks, ya i did the uninstall thing. no go. loads SUPER Slow. id say back to the 28.8 dial up days. i'll try the opera.

Check your proxy settings?
Sometimes my time warner(cable) gets real slow, I reset (unplugged my cable modem) and POW!

maybe your firewall/security program has a web link scanner. Which basically scans every single thing you do in the browser and slows it down to a snails pace.

Google Chrome is a rpetty good alternative too.

i didnt know ppl even still used IE
