So I am making a webpage for my real estate business. It's called birddogpayday.com
Basically what I am doing is offering a quick easy, risk free no money down real estate investing strategy for new real estate investors.
Basically they will be acting as birddogs. they will point me in the direction of a deal and if I close on the deal I will pay them 500 bucks.
So its basically a webpage for rats like mr mystery. You know you're neighbor is having a rough time and is going to lose his house to the bank, or you know the guy down the street is going through divorce and is looking to sell his place QUICK, you come to my page type in his adress and some info. it gets forwarded to me and if i close i pay you 500 bucks. sweet deal. no money down risk free real estate investing. just point me to the deals and get paid.
anyways I will provide free training etc. to find deals. plus if you join memebership to the site for 30 bucks a month I will have monthly interviews and extra info antthe real estate market etc. plus if you report deals i pay you 700 bucks instead of the 500. Also I am affiliating with some real estate guru's where if you take their courses because u were reffered through my site i get paid that way as well.
Pretty cool idea. With the right marketing I believe it will fly, and it will be all auomated.
Anyways thats not the important part. I wanted you guys to help me out pick out an artist to make my logo.
I contracted the work out on guru.com to find someone to do the work for me since i dont have the time.
I had 60 ppl reply, and i have narrowed it down to 5 ppl for the quality of work and the price they are asking.
My idea was this; the logo will consist of a cartoonish hunting dog standing there holding some cash in his hand. and Birddogpayday.com in there somehow as well as the slogan, "No money down risk free Real Estate Investing"
This guy is $30, hes mad cheap and he does some good cartton stuff. Alot of value in 30 bucks so in the business sense he's more of a likely candidate.

exactly its fuckin smart and the more money they make the more money they'll want to give me to join my membership and be able to get paid 700 bucks a lead. then they can earn enough money to afford classess and i still get paid through that too.
it's a cool little funnel where everyone wins.

I have no idea at all about the housing sector. But that business plan sounds like "Here's our company! We're going to take an advantage out of people, and we're damn proud of it!"

You want something that will appeal to middle class 35-60 year old white folks. The first link from artist #1 seems the most mainstreamish to me. #2 is sorta creepy/weird looking...definitely not him. The others are nice..but seem geared more towards a younger tech savvy crowd. Go with the guy who made the drawings in your first link.

ha not really man i used to thinkthe same when i got into it. but after you see what the banks and lending instuitions do to these people once they take their house away, your basically like jesus buying their home at a discount.
The banks and lending institutions bring the sheriff to the house and tell the people you have 10 nins to gather whatever you can and get on the sidewalk or else you will be arrested and charged for trespassing and theft. then they totally destroy their credit ratings and can't even rent an apartment. forced out on to the streets if tehy dont have any family or friends.
Sure i dont pay market value for the house. but im saving them from getting their assess whoooped and im putting a good chunk of equity in their pocket to try home ownership again.

well we'll see. Right now is actually the time to make money in real estaet if you are creative. I watch ppl make money all day. Im trying to get to the point where i dont haveto use other peoples money to make money.
but prolly even when i do have the money ill still use other peoples money for security reasons

Why a cartoon logo? Why not go with professional looking shit instead of looking like a cable company trying to get into other businesses.

and I thought abt doing the BIG MONEY NO MONEY DOWN robert allen style of marketing logos
But I figured lets have alittle fun with it. I mean in the long run Im branding myself, I just want something people will enjoy and at the same time remember.

Although that's a good way of thinking, it may hurt your image more than anything else, Eric. You're dealing with money here, it's not something people joke about
