Hi Guys,

I have been working with Logic 8 for about six months now. I would like to purchase a midi keyboard and I am debating between either a Korg microkontrol or a M-audio axiom 49.

What do you guys think would be the better option?

Any feedback or info would be greatly appreciated.

do you think you'd use the drum pads?

the microkontrol seems overpriced to me

I don't really like either of them since I like regular knobs more than encoders.... But they're probably less sketchy than my CME UF60 which cost about the same (seems to send random midi info sometimes)

Not quite sure if I will be using the pads... Are they really that usefull? Both the microkontrol and the axiom 49 have them.

I could actually get the microkontrol for the same price, that's why I am looking at it...
