Fruityloops FX channel help plz

im gonna cry out of frustration if i dont get this to work...ive been trying to do the peak controller thingomabobber for who knows how long...and i just cant get it to do what i want it to do...the main problem ive been having is trying to assign a loop to FX channel 3 but it keeps going to FX channel 1...arg...if anyone can help me out ill be in your debt thanx

In the sample's properties window, click hold and drag on the fx channel number and put it at 3. simple as that
