ok i'm up to season 5 now finally. i had watched 1 and 3 and some of 4 and my man had never heard of it so we've been watching from the very first episode all the way up season 5 over the past couple of months and i must say, it's one of the best fucking shows i've seen in a really long time. i mean, it really saddens me to know that these characters aren't really homeboys from queens living that life. lol

anyway, i was a little disappointed in the beginning of season 5 when vince was all hippy out in mexico and lost it in hollywood, but hopefully things will turn around for him.

i don't know what i'm going to do if the shows stops. who else is hooked and has any gossipy info about the show's future? *looks at bas*

the show is good. it has lost it's sense of novelty though...

HBO ordered 2 more seasons. Filming starts in january (now)and S6 begins summer 2009.

good to know. although i feel like it's not the same as the beginning. i mean it makes sense though that the characters have evolved but i dunno...that's what made them so cool in the beginning i really wouldn't like to see them get sucked into that gay ass hollywood mentality.

Kinda of an universal thing that shows go from good-> bad. I wasn't very fond of s5, it lacked action and that certain connection between the gang. It was Vince with his problems while the others continued with their lives.

Are American women so easy to get? Just throw a fancy line and BOOM, she's yours?

I disagree, I think the problem with the show is that the characters have not evolved or have not being pushed outside of their realms.

Season six episodes should start airing this summer. The problem I have with the show is Adrian Grenier doesn't act well in the movies he does/tries out for. If I was the director, I would never hire him. Kinda takes me out of it.

If nothing else, however, the show is entertaining. Jeremy Piven makes that show. Lots of hot whores, as well.

i had, but he hadn't. my sporadic watching of the show mostly had to do with whether or not i had HBO at the time lol but once we got the whole thing on dvd and started watching, i had forgotten how sick it was and was instantly glued again...even watching the episodes i remembered was fun again.

and yea chimney i agree about s5...we'll see what happens though. and as far as american women...i dunno lol i guess they are pretty bad but i've never tried to hit on any of them so i wouldn't know.

johnny drama annoys the shit out of us but the rest of the show is so good it doesn't matter. tracklist is dope too i always recognize a great hip hop song that i haven't heard in forever while watching it too.

lol we just watched that episode. and i totally agree about "vince's" acting within the show. although ari DID say that he was a great "movie star" and not "actor" when he came back from mexico. maybe his character is supposed to be that way?

That's the one problem I have. I love Kevin Dillon and that character, but they have taken it way too far with Johnny Drama being the "fly in the ointment" fucking something up in a big way for someone or himself in almost every episode. It's like he's become a caraciture of himself.

And, I don't care how close I am with my brother.... if he was a buzz kill that often in serious situations, there's no way I'd allow him to hang around me so much and make me look bad.
