Hey I was just wondering if there is a site online where I could lookup the BPMs of trance songs? I have a friend who is just learning to to beatmatch and he wants to find 2 of his vinyls that have the same bpm, to practice queing and stuff.
I'm pretty sure there was a site but I couldnt find it with the search function.
So please, list the url and help this guy out.

Its not me its him, and he has a lot to go through and it would take forever to find the bpms for all of them.
Does anybody have that link to the site with the list?

tell ur friend, not to buy tons of vinyl and not know what bpm of the songs hes got...
he should mark the sleeve of the vinyl with the bpm on the same day [does he not listen to the vinyl?]

He doesn't need to know every bpm for every song in the collection, he just wants to find 2 songs of his that are the same speed so he can get started with learning how to mix with turntables. Everyone starts at this point for DJing.

Why not just buy two of the same vinyl, then their guaranteed to be the same BPM. THIS is how people first learn about DJ'ing.

Just to let you know, the full versions of PC DJ Red and Traktor, along with many other programs I'm sure, both accurately calculate the BPMs of mp3s based on their waveforms. Just download the mp3s of the tracks and let the program (if you can get a hold of one) calculate the BPMs for ya... At least that's how I do it...
Good Luck!

here's a quick and easy solution:
download mixmeister (http://www.mixmeister.com/) and load al the mp3s (even the whole damn directory if you want) and let it crunch and figure out al the bpms.. real easy..
if you're talking about figuring the bpm of actual vinyal, you're pretty much SOL, since you have to do it manualy (not that hard realy, but if you got lots of records, can be a pain) or get a bpm meter (but those things are pretty inacurate from my experience..)
..hope that helped..
