Going off what DA started, I decided to create a lil somethin for the TA's that own PS3's. I just bought mine yesterday. Bought the 499.99 20 GB version.

You see, the difference between the PS3 core/premium vs. the 360 core/premium is that the PS3 core is NOT useless. If you buy the 360 core, you can hardly take advantage of the system's capabilities due to the lack of a hard drive. The PS3 20 GB version is still just as kickass as the 60 GB version, except that I cant wirelessly connect to the internet, which is something I wouldnt have done anyway.

I bought Resistance too. Seriously, no joke, I may like this game more than Gears of War. Its insane. I still havent even played online yet, but I know that'll kick another 100 asses combined.

All I really hear around these forums is hate for the PS3 and anti-Sony bashing. Do any TA's even own a PS3 yet? Or has the Wii invasion taken over everyone?

Cant wait til the F1 game. Im playing the demo right now which I downloaded and man its amazing. I have Resistance and Tiger Woods both are great and super on a 1080p HDTV.

Still switching to my 360 though since the PS3 is still working out the kinks (LIKE EVERY SYSTEM DOES WHEN ITS RELEASED!) Blue-Ray on it is amazing. Click is a horrible movie but really looked great

The improvements Id like to see is:

Home screen/game interaction
Buddy System improved

Other than that the problems I have (lack of games, Playstation Store being bare) will be improved as time goes on for sure. The playstation store has alot of potential. The browser is sick though. Ive not had any problems with any of the sites ive visted yet. I hope they or some nerd can figure out how we can keep the browser open playing some streaming media from a net radio station and play a game at the same time.

Thats all I can think of right now. I encourage everyone to get it if you can. Its definitly the gaming system for the "better equipt" No HDTV would be pretty bad me thinks

I want a PS3. Plain and simple. Hopefully there will be price reductions to come this year. I'm very curious how the PSP can communicate and integrate with the PS3.

I have a ps3 60 gig, its a fine system. The only problem with the 20 gig is that its missing the hdmi connection, a very crucial aspect of the ps3 that is required to show of its much needed high definition capabilities. so..its pretty much as useless in some sense as the 360 core. while not as bad, (the 360 core is a horrible package), its still something that makes a huge difference.

As far as I know, the 20 gig version has HDMI 1.3 output.

I was under the belief that the 20 gig was missing the WIFI thats what made it useless for me...thought it had the HDMI...?

It lacks the Wireless Communication (IEEE 802.11 b/g) that comes standard with the 60 gig.

Also, there are no slots for Memory Stick/SD/CompactFlash.

theres no excuse for any modern-day gaming system not to have a sizeable HD. i mean shit, i spent $120AU and got a 250Gb drive for my new system.
